Felt bad for doing another track so quickly after DasDeer but wanted to get this done before back to work and for Toast Beard. Even funkier then last track and the video is about 20% weirder. THIS track is so train (and it has sax).
DasDeer - Road to Appleloosa
(Dj Pon-3’s Road House Remix)
‘Over A Barrel’ is one of the under-rated eps from MLP and one that is rarely explored so I loved DasDeer’s original which captured it’s theme. I made his orchestral track more upbeat and rhythm heavy and let Braeburn give a tour through Appleloosa. Why is Dj Pon-3 heading out west to there? Turns out Pon-3 was hired for a gig out there so Octavia and I took a journey by carriage. Have vinyl will travel.

Thanks to DasDeer for letting me remix his original http://soundcloud.com/dasdeer/the-road-to-appleloosa
I wish there were more female fans.
hi
hi
female bronies don’t exist, silly.
so effin true. i wish we had more female musicians too!
This is where it began. Just two musicians in the brony community and a game dev, striking it out on their own at first, joined by friends everywhere. Four months passed and we have seen some of the most effort-squeezed works of sound dedicated to the fandom, yet. We weren’t here to tell people that bronies are badasses; we came to back that shit up.
The results were so far beyond what I could have ever anticipated. Balloon Party, well, ballooned up, almost out of control! So many artists were compelled to throw in what they got, and what I have seen that stands out and fits well into the album is beyond my expectations.
Balloon Party had a number of goals. First, it had to become a bangin’ album, whether it was electronica or orchestration. Second, it was part of operation Bronyquest. The result is assisting in transporting around 13 musicians to Bronycon and helping them find places to stay. The brony fandom saw our music and stepped up, proving once again to be the most generous and appreciative community. I would make music for no other fanbase of wonderful people, the graciousness of these people stun me so much. Third, the album was looking for talented veterans and aspiring newcomer musicians to come together in one group for music. We certainly got our fill of people in the community and more, complete with talent far beyond our expectations. Fourth, we sought to make a massive collective leap in production and composition quality. In doing this, MLR’s community is now the most educational and helpful music community in the fanbase. We esteem ourselves in producing the best.
I feel that we have accomplished these four goals to a reasonable extent. Balloon Party is ultimately a success. It was fun, it was a learning experience, and it made the impossible happen.
In no way did I accomplish this alone. Aussie was always there to offer his own views and be there for the facebook page and keep spirits up. If it weren’t for BMDoubbleBass and CyrilRufus, the financial situation would have been hell to manage. And I cannot forget the tens of people who would advise on my production skills, and be there to kick my silly pony butt and encourage me to push on with my own music whenever I would get discouraged.
The album has reached thousands, including Studio B’s Steffan Andrews. It is evident that the pony show crew truly holds the intentions of the community at heart, and values our support with love and tolerance.
I don’t know for sure if Knife Party is aware of the huge wave of excitement they made in our specific community, but bronies are all over their music. We dig it so hard. You can even visit the youtube videos for Knife Party songs. Chances are that you might see a top comment, and it’s about Twilight Sparkle, she reads all day, fuck ahahaha these bronies are nuts.
Well now we’re going to Bronycon. And we’ll likely play in Everfree. And EquestriaCon. And PonyCon AU. And BronyUK. And Everywhere.
The world is at our hands, let’s take it.
Brohoof.

nah haha JK this is an amazing post
I just regret that I didn’t do enough. Like, really, all I did was barely run the Facebook page. :CAwwww, yeeeaaah!

I don’t even regret not finishing a track; I helped other people with theirs.
…renaming that game to “Gang Bashing Simulator in Paradise”!
Also going to BED!!!
Yeah that game is even more brutal than L4D2. although there’s people to fight there’s LOADS more weapons and the damage to zombie’s is just that much more graphic. When you’re literally jumping or bashing a fallen zombie’s head in it’s almost a bit too brutal personally. Although I do love taking them out with a car.
I’m personally just having a blast sticking with Left For Dead 2.
